The role is a fixed‑term position within Työllisyysrahasto (Unemployment Fund). The Finance & Accounting Specialist will act as a key liaison for unemployment funds, ensure timely payments to funds, forecast expenses, maintain accounts payable/receivable, and participate in back-office trade confirmations. The position also supports liquidity planning and verification of returns, and contributes to investment operations. Work closely with the Finance, Middle Office and Investment teams to ensure smooth operational financial management and analysis.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the main contact for unemployment funds; ensure smooth cash flows; forecast expenses; maintain accounts payable and receivable; confirm investment trades in back-office; contribute to liquidity planning; support investment activities including verification of returns and monitoring limits; collaborate with Finance, Middle Office and Investment teams.
Requirements
- Experience in investment operations or back-office finance
- Understanding of accounting processes and reconciliations
- Good technical skills and experience with financial systems and Excel
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in Finnish and English
