Childcare Worker in Early Childhood Education
Esbo daycare seeks a Swedish-speaking childcare worker for 2-5 group in Espoo.
The daycare facility is located in modern, well-equipped premises in Esboviken, just 200 meters from the Lippulaiva mall with good transport connections. Our premises are adapted for children aged 10 months to 6 years and include, among other things, a gym, workshop, and movement room. We are looking for a childcare worker who is interested in developing early childhood education with the child’s best in focus. We are recruiting for one of our 2-5 year groups. Here are our seven groups and the age distribution. Floor 1 (12 children per group): Seals 1-2 years, Pike 1-2 years, Frogs 1-2 years. Floor 2 (18-21 children per group): Eagles 2-5 years, Crabs 2-5 years, Lizards 2-5 years, Gulls 2-5 years. With us you will work in a team together with another childcare worker and a teacher; together with your team plan, implement and evaluate the activities; be part of a positive and supportive work community where humor and job satisfaction are natural parts of everyday life; be part of a work community with a clear structure and concrete goals; work in a unit that focuses on child-centered work and actively listens to children’s thoughts, needs and curiosity. Work location and address: Utkikens day care, Utkiksgatan 2, 02320 Esbo Working hours: 38 hours 15 minutes per week Area of employment: AKTA General municipal service and labor collective agreement The job is for a fixed term. Qualifications: Eligibility in accordance with the Small Child Daycare Act (540/2018); for the task suitable basic degree in pedagogical activity and supervision, basic degree in social- and health-care or another equivalent degree, i.e. childcare worker, day care worker and assistant care worker (competence area for pedagogical activity and care of children and youths). Excellent spoken and written Swedish. We expect: The chosen person will present a criminal record extract under Section 6(2) of the Criminal Records Act. The Sick Infectious Disease Act requires to investigate the risk of tuberculosis infection for employees in the social and health care sector and those working with children of school age.
