We are seeking a fast-paced, cheerful dishwasher to join Kahvila-Ravintola Kespa. In addition to dishwashing, we hope to find a versatile person who tackles various tasks without prejudice and is willing to learn cash register duties. If you are flexible, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, you may be the right fit. Primary duties include dishwashing, cleaning tables, and other cleaning and maintenance tasks. The role starts mainly in day shifts during lunch hours. However, we hope you are a versatile worker with interest and willingness to take on additional hours at the cash register and other daily café-restaurant tasks when needed. Cashier shifts are during the workday between 5:30 and 21:15, so flexibility with hours is appreciated. What we expect from you: you are cheerful, customer-service oriented; you can work both independently and as part of a team; you are flexible and ready to take on different tasks; physical and sometimes busy work does not scare you; you are proactive and reliably complete assigned tasks; you are ready to learn new tasks and, if needed, jump to the cashier. Good Finnish language skills are important to serve customers smoothly and understand the work instructions. Previous experience in restaurant, café or cashier work is appreciated but the willingness to learn is the most important. The job is occasionally physically demanding and busy, so good general fitness and a go-getter attitude are beneficial. Working hours start with at least 12 hours per week / 3 shifts weekly. Initially daytime shifts around 10:30–14:30. As skills develop, cashier shifts may be offered between 5:30–21:15.
