Haemme Automation Engineer for our Kittilä gold mine. The role includes designing, testing, and implementing automation systems and HMIs, developing process control, instrumentation schematics, maintenance, changes, and system development for Automation and OT systems. The position is permanent, full-time, on-site at the mine in Kiistala. We expect a university degree in a suitable technical field, practical experience in automation design, knowledge of automation systems and industrial networks, fluent Finnish and English, and experience in industrial environments is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Design, test, and implement automation systems and HMIs and develop process control
- Circuit diagram design and documentation for field instrumentation
- Maintenance, change management, and system development of automation systems
- Operational Technology systems usability and monitoring, including cybersecurity (IEC 62443)
- Maintenance and development of process data systems and data quality assurance
- Technical support during outages and continual improvement of processes and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in a suitable technical field (e.g., automation engineering)
- Practical experience in automation design (instrumentation and/or implementation)
- Knowledge of automation systems and industrial networks (ABB 800xA, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, OPC UA, Modbus TCP) and cybersecurity (IEC 62443)
- Fluent Finnish and English
- Experience in industrial production environments is a plus
