Special Education Teacher

A special education teacher in early childhood education is sought to work across Håkansböle day care, Västersundom preschool and Trollebo day care in Vanda. The role involves acting as the expert in support for early childhood pedagogy, guiding planning, development and evaluation of child support processes for both facilities. You will collaborate closely with the day care principal, early childhood teachers and cross-disciplinary teams. The job requires strong skills in consulting and mentoring staff and guardians, with co-teaching at times. The position places you in the unit’s leadership group and you will assist in developing an inclusive culture. The unit emphasizes a positive, inclusive and sustainable work climate with a focus on child welfare. The facilities are located at Galoppbrinken 5, 01200 Vanda (Håkansböle day care), Hetbackavägen 3, 01200 Vanda (Västersundom preschool) and Vidjegränden 2, 01360 Vanda (Trollebo day care). Future plans include moving to new premises at Hästhagsvägen 17, 01200 Vanda for a 4 Swedish-speaking and 6 Finnish-speaking group day care. The team collaborates with Västersundoms school to support smooth transitions and lifelong learning. Applicants may be final-year students, recent graduates or more experienced candidates.
