Ruoveden unified school seeks an enthusiastic and committed teacher of mathematical subjects. The position may also include classes at Ruovesi High School. We expect a development‑minded approach, strong command of the subject, pedagogical vision and good interaction skills. Ruoveden unified school is located in a lively cultural parish. Our school has about 210 students. We focus on high-quality basic work in our teaching. It is important for us to create a safe and encouraging learning community where students feel comfortable and receive support for their growth and learning. Qualifications are determined in accordance with the Decree on the qualifications of teaching staff (986/1998). In the selection, qualifications, professional competence, as well as cooperation and interpersonal skills are taken into account. If qualified applicants are missing, those without qualifications may also be considered. Terms of employment comply with the current collective agreement (OVTES). Degrees and attested documents must be presented at a possible job interview. The position has a four-month probationary period. Before finalizing the selection, the chosen must present an approved medical certificate and a criminal background check as referred to in Section 6, Subsection 2 of the Criminal Records Act (770/1993).
