Sales Internship

This posting concerns a study-related open internship application for Alko stores in the Päijät-Häme region. We offer internship opportunities in sales and customer service duties at Alko stores across Finland. We primarily expect interns to possess customer-service and sales mindset, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in store work. The basis for arranging an internship is that the applicant is currently a student, the internship period is a mandatory part of degree studies, and the intern is of legal age at the start of the internship. The duration and timing are agreed case by case. Internships at stores are unpaid, but we provide interns with a daily meal benefit. Through the internship you gain valuable experience in customer service, responsible alcohol sales, and product knowledge of Alko’s diverse range. You will also develop important work-life skills and build networks. We aim to offer every intern meaningful work and tasks, as well as sufficient training and orientation for the role. However, we cannot offer an internship to everyone who applies. There are often stories where the path after internships continues with employment at Alko, either seasonally or as a permanent employee.
