Early Childhood Education Teacher

The position is for an Early Childhood Education Teacher for a group of 3–5 year-olds at Aurinkokiven Daycare, located in Vantaa. The teacher is responsible for building the group's operating culture and learning environment, planning, implementing, developing, and evaluating pedagogical activities in accordance with the Vantaa Early Childhood Education and Preschool Program and the unit's action plan, in collaboration with other staff. We value good teamwork and interaction skills, ability to attend to individual children's needs, and multi-professional collaboration. The unit uses the ProVaka approach to support children's social skills. The role includes participation in the unit’s leadership discussions and support from a wide multidisciplinary network. Requirements include strong Finnish language skills in writing and speaking.
