We are looking for an assistant who works independently and takes initiative, supporting the success of the whole team through their contribution. We particularly value knowledge of supporting children and a desire to develop professional skills in supporting children’s individual needs. Your duties as an assistant: - Supporting participation: You support a child or children in the group and enable their full participation in activities, taking the child’s support needs into account. - Guidance and care in everyday life: You take part in daily routines such as meals, dressing and transitions, guiding the child towards independence. - Member of the education team: You plan, carry out and evaluate activities together with the rest of the team. You apply specific practices related to supporting the child. - Cooperation: You work closely with families and, when needed, professionals providing rehabilitation for the child. - Sensitive presence: You build individual interactions and maintain a positive atmosphere where the child can grow and develop. The final salary depends on years of work experience and any possible role-specific or personal salary supplement. What we expect from you - Suitable education (for example, school assistant, practical nurse or other education in the education sector) or previous experience working with children. - A sensitive and responsible approach to work and the ability to meet each child as an individual. - Flexibility and good cooperation skills in changing everyday situations. - A criminal records extract required by law and a statement required under the Communicable Diseases Act.
