Quality Specialist (HSEQ)

Quality Specialist (HSEQ) We are looking for a Quality Specialist to develop production quality and processes at our three factories in Ulvila and Nivala. In your work, quality is first and foremost part of production: you develop processes, investigate the root causes of deviations and make quality data a management tool. At first, you will work with management support, and your responsibility will grow as your expertise develops. The goal is for you to take responsibility for quality management across the company in the coming years. The person we are looking for has a technical education and a few years of experience in quality management or production development in manufacturing, for example as a quality engineer, production engineer or in quality assurance. You do not need to know everything already; the right attitude, willingness to develop and a sufficient technical foundation are more important to us than long experience in every area. We appreciate it if you have already used AI or digital tools to develop your own work. We offer a long-term position with a clear career path that develops with the company. Responsibilities • Developing production quality, processes and ways of working together with production • Handling deviations, complaints and root-cause analyses • Developing quality indicators, digital measurement records and traceability • Maintaining and developing the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and EN 15085 management systems • Coordinating audits and responding to customers’ sustainability questionnaires • Responsibility for occupational safety, environmental matters and sustainability will expand as your expertise grows What we expect from you • Suitable technical education • Practical experience in quality management or production development in manufacturing • Knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard and ability to analyse quality data • Experience using AI or Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot Studio) in your own work • Initiative, problem-solving skills and the ability to put changes into practice in production • Fluency in Finnish and English • Audit experience, knowledge of EN 15085, ISO 14001 or ISO 27001, or EcoVadis, and statistical quality methods are considered an advantage What we offer • A clear career path from Quality Specialist towards responsibility for quality management across the company • Support from management and responsibility that grows step by step with your expertise • The opportunity to develop quality management through digitalisation and AI for products made for demanding international customers • Permanent employment, a skilled work community and comprehensive occupational healthcare Interested?
