Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher to join Keimolanmäen day care in a joyful team. The unit operates with a home-area model and six home-areas. Each area hosts two groups of children and has its own spaces. The day care participates in the ProVaka operating model, which emphasizes positive feedback, inclusive learning environments, and consistent guidance approaches. We collaborate daily with Keimolanmäen school sharing spaces like the restaurant, gym, and yard. The role involves working with 1–3 year olds in a supportive team of qualified staff and developing a positive pedagogical culture. The position includes a structured shift pattern (mainly 7:50–16:09) with one full Sak day in the rotation and a weekly Sak time for all teachers. Requirements include a genuine interest in positive group pedagogy and ability to use imagery to support communication. The contract is permanent with a 6-month probationary period. Salary is specified per month: 3129,71 EUR, with extra allowances for degree and experience.
