We provide open welfare support in family rehabilitation for families with children in Western Uusimaa. The rehabilitation aims to secure children's growth conditions, support parents in their upbringing tasks, and strengthen the family's own resources. Our guiding values in daily work are respectful interaction, community, participation, and positivity. Pajupolulla there is space for six client families in two buildings; three homes in a separate yard building and three family spaces in the main building with ward-like facilities. Your job is to plan, guide, and assess client work. You will act as the family’s caseworker and as a member of the team. Work is about presence in the family’s everyday life, guiding, modeling, and reflecting on situations together with the family and the team. We use methods such as Hoilei, MIM assessment, and various family work approaches. Rehabilitation periods are planned and implemented together with the family, with attention to the child’s special needs. We continuously develop our work in line with systemic practice. You have good teamwork skills, resilience to handle demanding client situations, and the ability to meet diverse clients. We offer a varied and challenging job description in a competent work community, with support from a supervisor, a multidisciplinary team, and a family therapist. External supervision is regular. Working hours: Shift work, 114 h 45 min / 3 weeks, including evenings and weekends and occasional night shifts. The position is permanent. Eligible education: social, health, or education polytechnic degree, e.g., social services student. Requires experience in child protection or mental health and substance abuse services, understanding of child protection processes, and motivation to learn and develop. We also require vaccination in accordance with infectious disease laws, driving license, driving skills, good record-keeping, good teamwork, and knowledge of family work methods. A criminal record extract must be presented. Random drug tests may be required by Länsi-Uudenmaan hyvinvointialue. We value experience in family rehabilitation, substance use and mental health work, experience in child protection, and work with families with infants and immigrants.
