Early Childhood Education Teacher

The City of Vantaa is seeking a permanent Early Childhood Education Teacher for Maittorpan Daycare, starting on 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The daycare serves four groups of children and makes regular use of nearby playgrounds and forest trips. It has strong facilities for small-group activities in line with the early childhood education plan. We participate in the ProVaka operating model, which relies on positive feedback to guide behavior. Adults model positive conduct and the model supports inclusive practices and consistent guidance methods across the staff. Our unit includes two broad-aimed early childhood education special education teachers who assist especially with child-support matters and work in groups according to their own schedules. For the early childhood education teacher, one sak-day is planned per work rotation, and all teachers have one common sak-time once a week during the day.
