Etelä-Savon hyvinvointialue Eloisa seeks a nurse for an ongoing permanent position in the ICU and monitoring department in Mikkeli. The role starts on 2 November 2026 or by agreement. The ICU/monitoring department is a unit for the acute phase care of severely ill patients. The ward has 18 beds, four of which are reserved for planned angiological procedures; the remaining beds are divided between ICU and monitoring patients. ICU patients are of mixed ages and from various specialties; monitoring patients are cardiology, internal medicine, neurology and surgical cases. The unit operates a coronariangiography room, managed jointly with imaging. Our experienced, site-trained nurses take care of MET activities together with an anaesthesist. During on-call, post-anesthesia recovery is provided by our unit. The nurse duties in the ICU/monitoring ward include caring for critically ill patients in a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on high-quality, safe care.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Health Care (AMK) or an equivalent diploma (earlier polytechnic degree) as per the law on health care professionals (559/94) and licensure;
