Oma Häme is seeking doctors for permanent and temporary vacancies in primary health care across the Kanta-Häme region. We offer versatile and developing work opportunities in health centers located in Hämeenlinna, Riihimäki, Forssa and Janakkala. Our health centers are large enough to provide broad duties and collegial support, yet small enough to remain flexible and genuinely good workplaces for doctors at different stages of their career. Our operations are progressive but grounded in sensible tradition. In addition to on-site work, we actively develop digital solutions to support smooth everyday operations and enable remote work when appropriate. The role encompasses diverse duties in primary health care, including long-term patient relationships, with shifts in emergency care and sector work in maternal and child health, school health and student health care. There are also opportunities for shifts at the periphery and hospital work. Trained supervising physicians support younger colleagues in patient care, and we learn the appropriate use of investigations and imaging together. Our extensive training calendar supports continuous development at all career stages. We understand the challenges of balancing work and leisure and enable part-time work and flexible arrangements when needed. In our outpatient services, permanent on-call physicians support smooth operations and make returning from holidays genuinely pleasant. Our team provides care to patients as a multi-professional unit from newborns to the elderly.
