Event Coordinator

Would you like to help realise one of Finland's most interesting nature and outdoors fairs? The Soini Nature and Outdoor Fair is held for the fifth time in summer 2027. The event has established itself among outdoor enthusiasts and brings together nature- and outdoors-related companies and actors to Soini again in June. We are seeking a project coordinator for a fixed-term contract to period 1.11.2026–30.6.2027, responsible for the preparation, marketing, sales and practical implementation of the 2027 fair. We are looking for an energetic, ideas-driven and enthusiastic person who dares to act decisively and keeps the strings in hand even in busy times. In this role you will influence the content, visibility and success of the event from start to finish. You will be responsible for acquiring exhibitors, partners and sponsors, planning and implementing the event marketing, and communications across channels. In addition, you will coordinate practical arrangements of the event and work closely with local associations, companies and the fair organization to develop the event. We expect experience in sales, marketing and event planning. You should have a proven track record in sales, a strong can-do attitude and the ability to manage things. The role requires good communication and collaboration skills and the ability to keep things under control. We especially value knowledge of the outdoors industry, interest in nature, outdoor activities, fishing and hunting, skilled digital marketing and social media management, and relevant event production know-how.
