We are looking for CNC machinists for our clients in different parts of Finland! Are you an experienced machinist or at the beginning of your career and eager to develop into a professional? We value previous experience, but the right attitude and motivation to learn are also important. What does the work involve? As a CNC machinist, you are responsible for manufacturing components and ensuring the smooth operation of machine tools in a production environment. Tasks depend on your skills and the client company’s production needs. Your tasks may include: - Operating CNC lathes, milling machines or multi-tasking machines - Setting up and adjusting machines - Reading and interpreting technical drawings - Selecting tools and machining methods - Creating programs and making necessary program changes - Measuring components and ensuring quality - Monitoring machine operation and keeping the work environment tidy The role and components being machined vary by workplace, so we will discuss your skills and preferences while looking for a suitable position. What do we expect from you? We hope you have: - Education in machining and/or experience in CNC machining - Knowledge of machining fundamentals and the use of measuring instruments - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings - A careful, responsible and proactive approach to work - Willingness to learn new things and develop in your work - Conversational-level Finnish, Swedish or English - Readiness for shift work as required by the role Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or another CNC control system is considered an advantage.
