We are seeking a Social Worker (AMK) to act as a supervisor and guide for a group of children aged 9–17 in a residential care unit. The role involves acting as a reliable and safe adult for all children and as a primary advisor to 1–2 children, coordinating with another unit supervisor, and engaging the team in development and quality assurance. The unit operates in shifts (evenings, nights, weekends) with daytime schooling for the youths, so the role is primarily afternoon-focused. Responsibilities include collaboration with parents, schools, and other networks, contributing to reporting and improvement of services, and applying professional knowledge to the team. We value prior experience in social and health care, with children and youth work, and an open, cooperative attitude. Requirements include a Master of Social Services (AMK) degree in social work. The position is permanent and full-time. Benefits include a supportive team, opportunities for professional development through TAMK-cooperated Sospro Academy, comprehensive occupational health, sport and culture benefits, pension options, and additional payout opportunities tied to education and shift work. The job requires a driving license, hygiene card, first aid training, and a professional health card. The contract adheres to the Private Social Services Sector collective agreement. Application deadline: 24 August 2026. Contact: Jenni Raikamaa and Soila Nyholm for details.
