We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Social Worker to join YES Daycare in Vantaa. The role involves participating as a member of an multi-professional team in the planning, implementation and evaluation of pedagogical activities, contributing to family collaboration and child well-being, and developing services and new practices to promote wellbeing and community involvement. The position is located at Y.E.S. Daycare, a multicultural bilingual setting (English and Finnish) in Hagelstamintie, Pakkaala, Vantaa. The team comprises 8 groups, with 2 kindergarten prep groups, and the social worker role is assigned to the 3-5 year age group this season. We value a flexible, positive, and collaborative approach, listening to children with sensitivity and supporting their participation in everyday matters. We encourage evidence-based practice via ProVaka model and emphasize equal, safe environment for all. Employment terms follow the Municipal general collective agreement (KVTES). Salary: 3113–3218 EUR/month with experience-based increments of 3–8%. Requires valid background check.
