We are now looking for an experienced
ELECTRICAL ENGINEER / ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING SPECIALIST
to provide technical support for design, production and projects.
In this role, you will act as Enico’s electrical engineering specialist at the interface between design, projects and production. The position is suited to an electrical engineering professional with experience in electrical design who wants to apply that expertise more broadly than at the design desk, in a practical production and project environment.
The focus of the role can be shaped around your experience, skills and interests. Your work may include providing electrical engineering support and troubleshooting in production, defining electrical solutions for customer projects, developing existing products and planning modifications, and providing technical support to sales and other specialists. You will have broad responsibility for electrical engineering solutions and use your expertise across the organisation on a range of electrical engineering matters.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an electrical engineering professional with relevant technical education, such as an electrical engineering degree or a Master of Science in Engineering, and experience in electrical engineering work. Your background may be in design, production, projects or another practical area of electrical engineering. The most important things are strong electrical engineering knowledge, the ability to understand the big picture and readiness to take responsibility for electrical solutions.
We value experience in sizing electrical systems and interpreting and applying electrical standards. Experience with BESS systems or other energy and electricity storage solutions is particularly interesting. Practical experience in areas such as installation supervision, production or electrical installation work also provides a good foundation and helps you understand how electrical solutions work in practice as well as on paper.
The daily work involves a broad range of voltage levels, so understanding medium-voltage environments is an advantage. You will also work with electricity network companies, and knowledge of their requirements and instructions supports success in the role. We use EPLAN as our design tool. Previous experience with it is an advantage, but we can provide training if needed.
You will succeed in this role if you enjoy technical problem-solving, take initiative and like working close to production and projects. You are comfortable with a range of technical situations and collaborate naturally with production, project teams and other specialists.
The role requires fluent Finnish and English.
What do we offer?
We offer a responsible and varied role where you can use your electrical engineering expertise broadly and see the tangible impact of your work in production, customer projects and completed solutions.
You will have the opportunity to improve, for example, product manufacturability, technical documentation, design solutions and working methods. You will be part of a practical-minded expert organisation in the growing energy sector.
The position is based in Tampere. The role involves close collaboration across the organisation, so we expect regular attendance at the office. Partial remote work is possible; for example, one remote day per week works when the duties allow it.
We also offer:
Comprehensive occupational healthcare
Modern work equipment
Preventive dental care
Lunch and recreation benefit
Performance-based pay
Flexible working hours
