Join us in producing high-quality BIM modeling for demanding bridge projects. You will work on demanding bridge and special-structure projects, where BIM supports design and construction. You will model structures, produce drawings and other design documentation, and take care of model quality as the project progresses. You will also help develop model-based design, for example through templates, components, model coordination, and parametric modeling. Parametric modeling is part of our everyday work; experience with it is an advantage, but the most important thing is an interest in learning more. Everyday work is based on close cooperation across locations. Modelers and designers exchange ideas, information moves quickly, and help is readily available. You can read more about our way of working together in the article “Bridge design is teamwork.” We work on projects in Finland and internationally, including projects such as the Atlantic Bridge, Kruunuvuori Bridge, and Chenab Bridge. In your role, you will turn bridges and special structures into models and drawings that serve the different stages and parties of a project. Your models and drawings will have a concrete impact on construction and safety for decades. What you will do Model bridges and other special structures according to project needs, for example with Tekla Structures, and maintain model quality as the project progresses. Produce drawings and other design documentation based on the BIM model and ensure consistent documentation. Use parametric modeling to produce structures, drawings, templates, and components together with the team. Coordinate the model with other design disciplines and ensure it supports design, construction, and, where necessary, maintenance. Work with bridge designers, other modelers, and the project team, and contribute to developing shared modeling practices. You can work from our offices in Helsinki, Oulu, Tampere, or Lahti. What we hope for from you Relevant technical education or equivalent expertise. Experience in BIM modeling and/or drawing production in bridge, infrastructure, or structural design projects. Experience designing concrete and steel structures in other industries is also an advantage. If you have more experience, we would also be pleased to hear from you. Understanding of structures and the ability to produce clear, buildable drawings and models in accordance with agreed instructions and requirements. Interest in model-based ways of working and readiness to learn parametric modeling. Knowledge of Tekla Structures and/or AutoCAD and familiarity with Grasshopper are advantages. Fluent written and spoken Finnish; readiness to work in English is an advantage. A careful approach to work, the ability to manage design documentation and model changes, and readiness to cooperate smoothly with the design team and stakeholders. Why WSP Bridges We combine demanding bridge projects, practical model-based practices, and smooth cooperation across locations. In practice, this means: You will gain a broad view of the different stages of a bridge project, from source information to modeling, drawing production, design documentation, and cooperation with construction sites. You will work on interesting projects in Finland and around the world, where BIM quality and cooperation are central. Modeling tools are at the heart of the work: you will produce models and drawings in a practical way and develop your skills with Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, and parametric modeling. You will take on responsibility and influence solutions as your expertise grows, supported by experienced specialists. You will join a team that develops solutions together and actively shares experience across projects. A hybrid model, flexible working practices, good employment benefits, and support from an international expert network. Interested? Submit your application through the link by 2 November 2026 and attach your CV. Briefly tell us about your background and what interests you about the role. You can also get in touch with questions or to discuss the role before applying. For more information, contact Antti Silvennoinen, Head of Department, tel. + , etunimi.sukunimi@wsp.com. Read more about WSP as an employer and its extensive employment benefits here. We are recruiting at the same time for several roles in bridge design, repair design, BIM modeling, and project management. If your expertise fits more than one open role, you do not need to choose one yourself. Tell us about your background and the kind of responsibility you are looking for, and we can discuss the best fit for you.
