Early Childhood Educator

We are looking for a developing, collaborative early childhood educator with strong interpersonal skills to join our permanent team at Ylästön päiväkoti. The unit is part of the Ylästön campus and consists of three day care centers, led by a twin-management model where one director handles personnel and the other pedagogy. The role involves working in the pre-school group and contributing to an inclusive leadership culture that values professional competence and child participation. The work environment emphasizes a supportive, inspiring, and engaging climate, close to nature with nearby parks and river valley conservation areas for outdoor activities. We focus on building children’s friendship skills, emotional understanding, and child-centred participation. The successful candidate must meet the nursery’s requirements, including a valid background check and tuberculosis clearance, and is offered a permanent full‑time position with a six‑month trial period.
