Early Childhood Special Education Teacher

The City of Vantaa is seeking a bilingual (Finnish and English) Inclusive Special Education Teacher for the Y.E.S. Daycare. The daycare is a two-language unit (Finnish and English) with up to 154 children and eight groups, including two pre-kindergarten groups. The teacher will assess needs, plan and implement support, and evaluate support in collaboration with other daycare staff. They will contribute to developing an inclusive teaching culture in the unit together with the daycare director. The post involves close cooperation with various stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams. Requirements include strong special education expertise and good Finnish language skills (written and spoken). Salaries follow the municipal education collective agreement with additional allowances based on qualifications and experience. The position starts on 1 September 2026 or by agreement and is permanent. Work hours are 38 h 15 min per week, day work.
