Snow worker / gig work - Kokkola & Pietarsaari. We are hiring 4 snow workers for the upcoming winter season for a gig-type position. Locations: Kokkola: 2 people (B driver’s license required). Pietarsaari: 2 people (sites reachable on foot or via customer-provided transport). Duties include snow removal from yards, walkways and other outdoor areas, as well as hand-snow work. Work is performed according to weather conditions when snow falls. Shifts are mainly early mornings and night hours so sites are ready before the day starts. A single shift lasts typically about 4–6 hours. Employment is offered on a 0–37.5 h/week contract; workload may vary with snow conditions: some weeks can be busy, other times may have little or no work. Selected workers will be added to a WhatsApp group to get notices about snow events, work conditions and call-outs. When snow work calls, we go out together to keep areas safe and passable. We expect: upbeat and responsible work attitude; willingness to work early mornings and on short notice when needed; reliability and commitment for the whole season; good physical condition; valid B-driver’s license for Kokkolа tasks; prior snow-work experience is a plus but not required. We provide training and give reflective workwear. We offer flexible gig work for the snow season, training for the task, a friendly team, and pay in accordance with Kiinteistöpalvelualan TES (KiPa TES) with all contract benefits. Interested? Send your application as soon as possible. Positions will be filled when suitable candidates are found. Join us to keep Kokkola and Pietarsaari in good shape even in the toughest winter conditions. For workers in the snow ring we will try to offer other job opportunities/calls in the area. Application deadline: 31.10.2026.
