Service Manager

Savonlinna region’s Employment Office is advancing the area’s employment, skilled workforce access, and matching jobseekers with employers. The multidisciplinary support service area combines labor market services with social, health and rehabilitation services to provide clients with holistic support for employment. We are seeking a Service Manager for the multidisciplinary support services to oversee operational leadership and development of the service area. The position sits within the multidisciplinary support domain and plays a central role in implementing the area’s service package. Integration and placement services are part of the multidisciplinary area. As Service Manager you will ensure smooth operation, quality, and development of the multidisciplinary support services in collaboration with the Director of Employment Services. You will lead the teams in the service area, develop customer processes, and ensure services are impactful and well-coordinated. Key tasks include: - leading service area teams and performing personnel management tasks - developing customer processes and multidisciplinary service models - coordinating stakeholder collaboration (e.g., welfare regions, Kela, municipalities, service providers, educational institutions, associations) - coordinating service networks and networking - planning and monitoring service area goals, quality, and resources - implementing legislation and directives and guiding staff - coordinating and leading the operational model for multidisciplinary employment support (TYM) - development work, customer processes and service models for the Youth Employment multidisciplinary service in Ohjaamo - practical arrangements and communications for the service network We offer meaningful and responsible supervisory role in labor market services, opportunity to contribute to a developing service package for the employment region, a capable and committed work community, diverse cooperation networks and the chance to develop the service area broadly. A healthy employee is important to us! The local step salary for Service Manager is 4100.82 €/month, with potential seniority-based allowances. Employment terms follow the Municipal Collective Agreement (KVTES). The successful candidate must provide a health certificate before taking the post. There is a six (6) month probationary period.
