Heat Treater

For our Penig site we are seeking support in the parts manufacturing area in the heat treatment department. Flender, headquartered in Bocholt, Germany, is a leading international manufacturer of mechanical and electrical drive systems. For more than 125 years, Flender has offered a broad range of gear units, couplings, generators and related services for many key industries. Responsibilities include performing targeted heat treatment according to technical drawings and work plans; handling pre- and post-treatment preparation of parts to be hardened; checking process-relevant parameters for gas carburizing of furnace systems and the control system; carrying out hardness tests on heat-treated samples and components. Requirements include a successfully completed training as a materials tester in the field of heat treatment technology or a comparable qualification; experience in heat treatment is desirable. The successful candidate demonstrates independent, responsible, solution-oriented work, reliability, commitment and teamwork; a high standard of quality and safety awareness; forklift license; valid G25 and G30 aptitude tests; willingness to work in a shift system (currently 3-shift).
