Responsible Physician for Disability Service Housing Units

We are seeking responsible physicians for disability service housing units in Päijät-Häme. Period: From 1 January 2027, continuing indefinitely (anticipated start). Working hours: Office hours; remote rounds at the units once a week, in-person rounds at the units twice a year approximately six months apart, and availability by phone on weekdays during office hours. Requirements: A physician licensed in Finland, at least two years of experience working as a physician in Finland, excellent spoken and written Finnish (minimum C1), and professional details visible in JulkiTerhikki. Job description: This is a responsible physician service for disability service housing units. The responsible physician oversees residents’ medical care, conducts weekly remote rounds and in-person rounds twice a year, and prepares the necessary statements, certificates and referrals. Remote rounds are held by phone and/or video with the assistance of a unit nurse, according to residents’ needs. The responsible physician visits each unit twice a year, approximately six months apart. The necessary care plans are prepared and updated during the in-person round. The date is agreed approximately one month in advance. In addition, the responsible physician is available to care staff on weekdays during office hours and responds to call requests and other contacts no later than the next working day. There are 136 clients covered by the service in seven different units. Patient information system: Lifecare; entries are made through the Citrix system. Other terms: The aim is for the same professional to remain in the role throughout the contract period. The service does not include emergency care. Why choose Onni?
