Manufacturing Planning Engineer

As part of a contract manufacturer in the metal industry, the role oversees production planning and coordination across four sites: Virrat, Seinäjoki, Akaa and Pirkkala. It supports supervision and acts as production coordinator, ensuring orders, work queues and schedules stay up to date and production progresses as planned. Duties include production planning, maintenance and organization; coordinating orders and production status; utilizing the ERP system for planning and order management; maintaining schedules; rearranging production if needed; internal reporting; daily support to supervision in various organizational and planning tasks. We seek someone with some experience in production and machine shop environments; direct experience in production planning is not mandatory. Beneficial skills include ERP experience, precise and systematic work style, experience in machine shop environments, machining knowledge or hands-on machining experience, and technical education such as a mechanical engineering degree. You should be sociable and collaborative, able to work systematically and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
