The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day management of the project, guiding project implementation and ensuring overall facilitation of activities with UNDP, implementing partners and the donor. The general objective of the position will be supporting, promoting and coordinating the actions required for the successful development and the achievement of the results, outputs and targets, envisioned by the project, ensuring effective linkages between the beneficiaries and national institutions. Scope of Work describes four main areas: coordination of planning and implementation; establishment of partnerships and communication; monitoring and reporting; knowledge sharing and capacity building. The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization. The Project Manager reports to the UNDP Programme Officer.

- Facilitate knowledge and capacity building, knowledge sharing and advocacy relevant to the assigned thematic area(s)
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent with 5 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience in related fields such as Economics, Finance, Civil or Energy Engineering, Environmental Management or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years (with master’s degree) or 7 years (with bachelor’s degree) of demonstrable experience in project/programme management, specifically in fields related to natural resource management, environmental policy, or climate change mitigation and adaptation.
- Fluency in English is required.
