Housekeeping Attendant

We are looking for a cheerful and reliable service attendant for housekeeping duties in Mikkeli for permanent, part-time positions. The cleaner’s job is a key part of the operation of the accommodation facility, as cleanliness and comfort are central to the guests’ experience. Your tasks include general cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, washing floors in hotel rooms and common areas; changing linens and making beds; wiping surfaces; safe use of cleaning machines; basic cleaning tasks as needed), maintaining hygienic standards in sanitary spaces (toilets, sinks, floors), collaborating with staff and communicating with guests when needed, reporting damages and maintenance needs following instructions, handling cleaning supplies and chemicals, replenishing paper products. The SOL hotel cleaning team carries the Nordic Swan Ecolabel and follows its standards in all cleaning activities; you will receive training aligned with these criteria, which you can mention on your résumé. Shifts run Monday–Sunday 8:00–18:00 per the roster, with weekly hours totaling at least 15, and shifts vary with occupancy so flexibility is asked. We require you to be of legal age, have good Finnish language skills for customer service and safety, be precise, systematic, and good at time management, have good physical condition, be flexible and committed to duties, and maintain a sunny customer-service attitude. Prior cleaning experience is a plus.
