CAM Programmer

Metalpower Oy was founded in 1991 and is part of the Terra Patris group owned by a domestic private owner. The company operates 12,000 square meters of production space in Tyrnävä and Kempele and employs about 130 people. We are looking for CAM programmer for Kempele unit. What would you do with us? As CAM programmer you will be responsible for programming machined parts and supporting production flow. You will work with Mastercam software and create programs for our versatile machine fleet including 3- and 5-axis machining centers. The role allows you to apply your machining skills and collaborate closely with production. Besides programming, responsibilities include planning milling methods, tools and steps, as well as developing and optimizing existing programs. We offer you responsibility for your own work and an opportunity to influence how milling and production are developed. Work is day shifts. What do we expect? Prior CAM programming experience and fluent Mastercam usage. A solid understanding of machining, milling methods and how programs operate on a machine.
