Utkikens daghem in Esboviken is a modern Swedish-speaking daycare founded in 2024. As a leader you will have the opportunity to work in a new and development-oriented environment with room to develop methods, culture and pedagogy. The daycare has seven groups and shares a building with the Finnish-speaking daycare Tähystäjän päiväkoti. Operations take place in well-adapted premises including a gym hall, workshop and movement spaces, and the daycare actively utilizes local opportunities. As a leader you are part of Svebi's leadership group where collaboration, collegial support and joint development are central. You receive close support in your assignment and good opportunities to develop as a leader. Together with principals and other leaders in Swedish-language early childhood education and schooling we work for a sustainable and high-quality educational path for Espoo's children and youth. Requirements: Competence in accordance with the Act on Early Childhood Education (540/2018) and sufficient leadership ability. Meriting are: Master’s degree in pedagogy (early childhood education) or readiness to obtain a Master’s degree and good Finnish skills. Knowledge of Finnish is required; good command of Swedish is expected. The applicant should present a police clearance as per 6 § 2 mom. of the Criminal Code.
