We are seeking two early childhood education child care workers for maternity leave substitutions. The substitutions are for periods 28.9.2026–30.7.2026 and 27.11.2026–31.7.2027. The place of work at the start of the contract is the Mustikkatassu day care in Mäntyharju town center. We expect a positive attitude, good interaction skills, contribution to teamwork, initiative and flexibility to ensure the functioning of the work community. The job requires: ability to participate in broad pedagogical teamwork; ability to implement small-group pedagogy; ability to work independently in shift work; flexibility and adaptability to sudden situation changes; good emotional and interpersonal skills; initiative and interest in developing work and operating culture. Working hours are 38.25 hours per week. The form of work is shift work. The role’s wage grade A is €2565.39 per month. Other terms are governed by the Municipal Act and Agreement (KVTES). Eligibility requires: according to the Childcare Act 540/2018 section 28 a relevant degree (early childhood education teacher) or social and health care basic degree (practical nurse) or another equivalent applicable degree, including sufficient studies in child care, upbringing and teaching. Applicants must present a criminal record extract as required by law. The six-month probation period applies. Original diplomas will be requested at the interview.
