Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are recruiting an Early Childhood Education Teacher for Mäntsälä to join our team as a permanent employee from 7 September 2026. The primary placement at the start of the contract is at Hyökännummen Daycare. The role includes leading your team, planning pedagogical activities in cooperation with the rest of our skilled staff, and supporting children's participation and language and literacy development through play. You will work as part of six day-care centers under the leadership of the municipal director, in a community that values development through agile experimentation. The position involves collaboration with children, colleagues, and guardians in a warm, professional, and constructive manner. Required qualifications include at least a Bachelor's degree in Education with training in kindergarten teacher education, or an AMK degree in Social Services and Health Care with early childhood and social pedagogy studies (60 credits) or a social work degree supplemented by those studies. Salary follows the municipal collective agreement: starting pay is 3087.31 €/month plus possible seniority-based increments. A six-month probationary period applies; temporary positions have a probation period of up to half the duration. Application deadline is 31.08.2026 at 12:00.
