About the role

Our ESG R&D team builds the technology behind our sustainability and climate intelligence solutions, helping organisations understand and reduce their environmental impact. We are a collaborative team of engineers and data specialists working closely with product and sustainability experts to turn complex environmental data into meaningful insights for customers around the world. We work as a distributed team across the UK and Canada, combining strong technical expertise with a shared commitment to solving real-world problems. As the platform grows globally, we are modernising our architecture, expanding our analytics capabilities, and exploring how AI can enhance sustainability insights. It’s an opportunity to join a team where your work directly contributes to helping organisations make better decisions for people and the planet. What we’re looking for: typically 3–6 years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or similar data-focused role; experience building data pipelines, transformations, and analytics datasets; experience with cloud-based data platforms; collaboration with engineers, product managers, and analysts; modern engineering practices; sustainability/ ESG data is advantageous. Technical experience includes Airflow, dbt, AWS, Redshift, PostgreSQL, Python, SQL, BI tools like QuickSight/Looker/Power BI/Tableau, data warehouse/lake architectures, Git workflows.
