AIF Fund Administration Specialist

Would you like to work with alternative investments and help develop the fund administration of the future? We are now looking for a specialist in AIF fund administration for our fund administration team in Helsinki. You will work with valuation, reporting and process development for alternative investment funds, including funds focused on energy investments, together with experienced colleagues. You will not work alone. You will join a knowledgeable team responsible for central fund administration processes and working closely with, among others, portfolio management, legal, finance and external partners. What will you be responsible for? In this role, together with the rest of the team, you will be responsible for central processes relating to valuation, reporting, information management and control of alternative investment funds. Your duties include: - Managing valuation and reporting processes for alternative investment funds - Analysing, maintaining and quality-assuring fund-related information - Monitoring events that affect fund valuation and reporting - Working with portfolio managers, external service providers, auditors and other specialists - Developing processes, reporting, systems and work tools - Contributing to the continued development of working methods and the control environment The work gives you the opportunity to gain a broad understanding of alternative investments and develop into a qualified specialist in the field. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who already has experience in the fund industry or similar duties in areas such as asset management, fund administration, valuation, reporting, accounting or financial administration. We particularly value that you are accurate and quality-conscious; analytical and interested in numbers; curious and willing to learn; collaborative and unpretentious; proactive and responsible. We also expect you to have suitable education for the role, very good Excel skills, good ability to work in Finnish, Swedish and English, and previous experience in finance, funds or investment activities. Knowledge of valuing illiquid assets, for example using DCF models, cash-flow analyses or other valuation methods, is considered a significant advantage. Experience with accounting, financial statements and financial reporting is also an advantage. What do we offer?
