Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking 1 early childhood teacher for the under-3-year-old group at Lystilä daycare in Vantaa. Working hours vary on weekdays from 6:00 to 17:10. The team includes one early childhood social services graduate and one childminder. The daycare employs multiple staff across roles, including a special educational needs teacher and additional support staff. The position is permanent with possible start date by agreement; a developer teacher and a music-focused developer teacher are also contracted for parts of the year. The building is modern and spacious, located near Jumbon shopping centre with good transport links. Salary is 3,129.46–3,234.53 EUR/month, with extra allowances for certain qualifications (15 EUR/kk for preschool teacher qualification, 37.88 EUR/kk for Master of Education) and experience-based increments of 3–8%. Required to present a current criminal background check and TB clearance for under-6s staff. The job is full-time, with a 6-month probation period. The work time is 38 h 15 min per week, with occasional evening and night shifts paid as cash compensation. Applications run through the municipal recruitment system; there may be video interviews.
