Role involves installing, testing and commissioning ship electrical and automation systems as part of the production electrical team. Work is diverse, focusing on installation work to ensure the vessel's entire electrical installation operates in cooperation with other production teams. You will work as part of a skilled electrical team and participate in shipbuilding from installations to commissioning. Duties include installing electrical systems and cabling per drawings and diagrams, cable pulling and labeling, installing electrical devices, junction boxes, switching panels and connectors, installing battery, charging, lighting and automation systems, performing electrical measurements, tests and functional checks, participating in commissioning, identifying and reporting installation deviations, coordinating electrical installations with other production teams, installing signs and labels, and ensuring quality, safety and electrical regulations. Full-time 40 h/week. Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems and cabling according to drawings and wiring diagrams
- Pull and bundle cables and label
- Install electrical devices, junction boxes, junction panels and connectors
- Install battery, charging, lighting and automation systems
- Perform electrical measurements, tests and functional inspections
- Participate in commissioning
- Identify and report installation deviations
- Coordinate electrical installations with other production teams
- Install signage and labels
- Ensure quality, safety and electrical code compliance
Requirements
- Electric or automation trade qualification
- Experience with electrical installations in an industrial environment or on vehicle/ship electrical systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Meticulous and proactive work attitude
- Good collaboration and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in two shifts
- Commitment to quality and safety
