Special Educator in Early Childhood Education

We are hiring a special educator in early childhood education for Vantaa to work across Håkansböle day care, Västersundom preschool and Trollebo day care. The unit follows the vision of the Swedish-speaking service area: We grow, play and learn together for a sustainable future. The role involves advising and guiding staff and guardians, teaching in groups of children, and participating in the unit’s leadership group to develop an inclusive culture. The position emphasizes co-teaching part-time or occasionally, and collaboration with the day care director, early childhood education teachers, and multi-professional teams. The unit collaborates closely with Västersundoms school to support safe transitions and lifelong learning. The recruitment includes a six-month probation period, full-time, 38 h 15 min per week. The workplaces include Håkansböle day care (Galoppbrinken 5, 01200 Vanda), Västersundom preschool (Hetbackavägen 3, 01200 Vanda), and Trollebo day care (Vidjegränden 2, 01360 Vanda). Salary is 3 593,84 EUR per month with potential add-ons based on previous experience. A valid criminal background check and tuberculosis screening are required.
