This posting describes a full‑time, permanent position for a Housing Support Worker at the Sahapuisto housing unit, under the Sahinauha Foundation. The worker will provide supported housing and temporary accommodation to people experiencing homelessness, following the Housing First principle that housing is a basic right. Responsibilities include acting as a resident support guide, assisting residents with housing, home maintenance, and daily life skills, coordinating networks and recreational activities, and working in a two‑shift schedule including weekends. Requires at least a social and health care basic qualification (e.g., practical nurse) and experience in substance abuse and mental health work is valued. A criminal record extract is required under social and health care supervision law. The role uses the Private Social Services Collective Agreement; pay scale is G21 (2543.33–2871.53 €/month plus shift allowances). Start date on or before 1 October 2026.
