Strategic Finance Manager

The Role: We are looking for a Strategic Finance Manager to join our Finance team. This is a highly visible and hands-on role, responsible for owning financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. You will partner closely with leadership across Eight Sleep to shape strategy and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Location: SF. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and monthly variance analysis; Build and maintain dynamic financial models; Partner with functional leads to define KPIs and operational metrics; Develop ROI analyses for new product features, marketing initiatives, and cross-functional investments; Create financial presentations and business review materials for executive leadership and the Board; Lead preparation of monthly operating reviews and performance commentary; Support ad hoc business analysis and special projects as needed. What We’re Looking For: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least 3-5+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance. MBA is a plus. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling. Deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting techniques, and Hardware/SaaS/internet business models. Exceptional communication skills. Analytical mindset. Advanced knowledge of the 3 statements and accounting concepts. Ability to work independently. Compensation: Salary range: $130,000 – $170,000.
