Welcome to join us in the Kolari hospital care team! We are looking for a nurse to join our team. The position is a fixed-term temporary replacement from 1 October 2026 to 17 January 2026. Our nursing team works with home care, home nursing and accommodation services clients. The work is diverse and independent. Work is performed in two shifts from 7:00 to 21:00 every day of the week. The job includes planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and, if necessary, organizing support services together with the rest of the team. The home hospital provides hospital-level care at the patient’s home, at the housing unit, or in the home hospital care facilities. Home hospital care includes e.g. assessment of care needs, wound care, intravenous medication administration, hydration and nutrition, palliative and end-of-life care. The Kolari hospital care team is also responsible for emergency duty every third day in cooperation with two other municipalities. Requirements: - Right to practice the nursing profession as a licensed professional - Fluency in Finnish, spoken and written - Driving licence and possibility to use own car (also used by home hospital) We expect: - Independent approach and initiative - Good collaboration skills and willingness to work as part of a multi-professional team - Previous experience in home nursing / home hospital is an advantage. Terms of employment follow the Social and Health Service Agreement. We adhere to vaccination protection as required by law. Before taking up the position, the selected person must present a police clearance certificate for working with older people as required by Act 741/2023, Section 28.
