Mechanical fitter

Sandvik's Mining business area is a leading producer of equipment and tools for the mining industry, as well as maintenance and technical services. Its products include drilling equipment, mechanical mining equipment, crushers, and loading and hauling equipment. At the Turku Runosmäki factory, loading and hauling equipment is designed, manufactured and tested for underground hard rock mining. We are now looking for permanent, full-time mechanical fitters. You will work in the sub-assembly and/or final assembly of loading/haulage equipment. Your tasks also include developing and improving the manufacturability and installability of products. Work is performed in a team, in collaboration with design and other stakeholders. The work is shift-work. Background: suitable technical education; experience and skills in mechanical assembly; initiative and willingness to learn; teamwork skills and a proactive, responsible work attitude; willingness to work shifts; advantage: applicable know-how or hobby.
