About the role

Hej! We are looking for a resource childcare worker for Håkansböle day care and Trollebo day care in Vanda. We welcome you who wish to work as a resource childcare worker within early childhood education for our Swedish-speaking daycares in Vanda. You will be met by competent, engaged and friendly colleagues and a positive work culture where we develop together. Our work is based on the City of Vanda’s Swedish-speaking service area vision: We grow, play and learn together for a sustainable future. We value an inclusive, safe and sustainable operating culture where the child’s best is always in focus. During the 2026–2027 school year we will especially work with themes: language and communication, play, wellbeing. Our unit also participates in the ProSmå project aimed at strengthening children’s socioemotional skills and promoting positive interactions throughout the day care center. Task: As a resource childcare worker you provide children with safety, care and support in daily life. You have the opportunity to work and support pedagogy in all age groups in varied ways and your support is most relevant where needed. By working in all groups you also support the teams’ pedagogical work and collaborate with multiprofessional actors. You actively contribute to developing an inclusive service culture across the entire unit. We expect that you: have good ability to cooperate in a team, communicate safely and respectfully with children, colleagues and guardians, meet the children with sensitivity based on their individual needs. Job details: Qualifications: Childcarer qualification (childcarer according to the act on small children’s pedagogy). In addition to the qualifications, strong Swedish language skills are required. Terms of employment are according to the general municipal service and employment collective agreement (AKTA). Salary: 2553.28 euro/month, plus an allowance based on prior experience. Eligibility: The appointed person must present a valid extract from a criminal record; we check that those appointed to work with the care of school-aged children have submitted a tuberculosis screening.
