The position is a fixed-term post for a Special Education Needs Teacher at Ritaharju School for the period 16 September 2026 to 5 June 2027. Ritaharju School is a comprehensive school with about 800 students in grades 1–9. Our operations emphasize future skills such as cooperation, interaction and thinking, and active student participation. We operate as an open, encouraging and communal community, offering strong collegial support, functional structures for collaboration and opportunities to develop one’s own expertise as part of subject groups. We share knowledge, try new things boldly and develop the school's activities together—valuing both students and each other. Qualifications are determined in accordance with the Act on Qualifications of Teaching Personnel (986/1998). Original degree certificates must be presented at potential interviews. Salary is determined by the Municipal Teaching Sector collective agreement. Before appointment is confirmed, within 30 days of receiving the decision, a criminal background certificate (concerning work with children) must be presented as required by law.
