Janitor

We are seeking a temporary janitor for Variskan Comprehensive School in Ristinummi (address Vanhan Vaasan katu 20) to perform cleaning duties as part of the school’s facilities team. The position is full-time (100% / 38.25 hours per week) and runs until January 31, 2027. Work shifts are on weekdays, Mon-Fri from 06:00 to 14:09. The role involves working as part of the school’s team, taking responsibility for your designated area, and participating in a rotating area system within the school (area rotates every 3 months). You will join the team as agreed and follow instructions and shared rules. Situations can change quickly, so you should be able to organize your day accordingly. Requirements include previous cleaning experience or relevant training, and Finnish language proficiency. Before starting, a police background check is required (Act 504/2002).
