We are seeking a bilingual, inclusive Special Education Teacher for early childhood education (Finnish and English) to join Y.E.S. Daycare in Vantaa. The unit operates under Vantaa City’s Education and Learning department. The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating support for children with special educational needs in collaboration with the rest of the early childhood education staff. The teacher will promote an inclusive culture and participate in planning and evaluation processes for targeted support. The candidate should have strong special education expertise, a positive, encouraging team spirit, and an ability to understand each child’s individuality. Proficiency in Finnish (written and spoken) is required. The work environment emphasizes evidence-based practice and collaboration with various stakeholders.
