Healthcare Assistant

We are looking for a full‑time supervisor/caregiver for Anttulan Yökylä Oy’s Alajärvi unit. Anttulan Yökylä provides round‑the‑clock housing and care services for children and youths requiring special support. Our work centers on individual interaction, safe daily life, and supporting the wellbeing and participation of clients. Your tasks include guiding children and youths in daily activities, providing care and rehabilitative routines, maintaining a safe and predictable daily life, collaborating with guardians, social workers and other partners, recording client information, contributing to unit development, and handling meals, laundry, and cleaning. The role involves irregular three‑shift work. We expect you to have a suitable social and health care qualification (e.g., practical nurse education or equivalent), an interest in working with children and youth, strong interpersonal skills and a responsible work attitude, and the ability to stay calm and customer‑oriented in challenging situations. Prior experience with people with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, or with children and youths is advantageous.
