Field Operator

Field Operator responsible for the daily operation of systems related to on-site wastewater treatment at a Vaasa site. Tasks include monitoring the water treatment process, measurement and documentation tasks to ensure safe and reliable system operation. Daily tasks involve operating water treatment equipment, pumps, valves and measuring devices, monitoring pH values, flow rates and other key measurements. Also ensure chemical stock, participate in practical fault finding and report deviations or areas for improvement. The work is primarily outdoor field work, with focused monitoring and documentation during calmer days and applying problem-solving skills in varying emergencies. You work mostly independently but are supported by NG Nordic experts and receive thorough onboarding before operations begin. Work is mainly day shifts, 37.5 hours per week; site operates around the clock, so flexibility for occasional emergencies is valued. We value initiative, practical approach, tool-use ability, and independence, along with accuracy, responsibility and safety. A careful documentation and reporting approach is also requested; basic English is helpful for international stakeholders.
