Controller

The position Y-Säätiö is seeking a business-oriented Controller to support the foundation’s financial planning, forecasting and business control. You will play a key role in supporting the planning, monitoring and development of operations, the appropriate allocation of resources and decision-making. You will coordinate and develop budgeting and forecasting processes and ensure their smooth implementation. You will produce management reports and analyse financial performance, variances and the factors behind them. You will act as a finance partner to business units and contribute to business development from a financial perspective. In the role, you will develop and maintain cost accounting and cost allocation models. You will support the financial preparation of rent setting and prepare related calculations. You will also develop financial reporting, performance indicators and data-informed management practices in cooperation with the rest of the finance organisation. You will work closely with business leaders and the finance and funding organisation. You will also cooperate with external partners, such as software suppliers. You have a suitable higher-education degree, for example in business, accounting or finance. You are familiar with budgeting, forecasting and management accounting, and have experience in cost accounting and financial modelling. You are an analytical and solution-oriented professional who can identify financial phenomena, make sense of complex issues and present findings clearly to support decision-making. You have experience with BI and reporting tools and strong Excel skills. We value a development-minded, proactive and solution-oriented approach.
